At St Andrew’s, you’ll receive a warm welcome and you’ll hear a message of hope.
We’re located at 10 Clayburn Road, Glen Eden (which is just behind the train station). Our one-hour service begins at 10am each Sunday. It’s followed by a free morning tea.
We also have a short service on Wednesdays (during term time) in the church hall for those wanting some mid-week encouragement. It starts at 11:45am.

The Running Reverend: 100 Laps at 100 Dollars for 100 Years
On Sunday 1 November, straight after the morning service, George is planning to run 100 laps around the St Andrew’s property – a half marathon, all within the church grounds!
It’s definitely not the usual thing for a vicar to do, but there’s a method behind the madness! The parish is about to turn 100 years old, and each lap represents one year of the church’s ministry – and helps fund the next chapter.
We’re inviting people to sponsor laps at $100 each. Every dollar goes directly towards refurbishing and maintaining the church buildings so they can continue serving the community.
St Andrew’s is a place where people find support, connection, and hope. Keeping it in good shape really does make a difference.
If you’d like to sponsor a lap (or more!) please deposit into the church’s bank account (number: 12-3051-0260383-00, name: The Parish of St Andrew Glen Eden Diocese of Auckland). Use your email address as the reference if you’d like a receipt. Donations qualify for the usual charitable tax rebate.
We’re hoping to get all 100 laps sponsored. A $10,000 total would be a huge help for our parish. Thanks so much for considering supporting this effort!

Knitwits
Our charity knitting group meets on the second Friday of each month from 2:30pm. Together, we produce thousands of items for worthy causes both here in NZ and overseas. And we have heaps of fun while we do!.
Rev. George Penk has lived in Glen Eden for more than 30 years and is passionate about the place. He’s relatively new to pastoring the local church, but has already seen significant growth. You might recognise his voice from the radio or TV because George has worked as a broadcaster for more than a decade. He’s currently an announcer on Life FM, and the host of two podcasts: Bible Boost and The Seven-Minute Sermon. Check them out for a taste of the preaching you’ll hear at St Andrew’s. George loves sharing the good news of Jesus. His messages are hope-filled and accessible for everyone. He’d love to see you on Sunday!
